Customer Reviews

"Great diner find, filled with locals. Everything you would expect to find at a cool diner. Food was prepared as ordered, came out fast, and was very good. Service was spectacular, she was the only one serving, taking orders, delivering the food, answering the phone and working the register."

- Barry K.

"Wonder where your grandparents ate back when? This would be the place. Oldies kinda place with bar stools and booth seating, small hole in the wall. Old wall jukebox at each table that doesn't operate. Nice atmosphere with oldy music blasting. Restrooms back through the kitchen. Pricing average. Waitress very busy due to just her taking orders, seating, serving and register. Hmm, but 2 cooks. Coffee strong. Had eggs and homemade corned beef hash. I am used to potatoes in my hash. This was dryer. They had sourdough and rye for the gluten intolerant. Plenty of napkins. Booths had plenty of wear and holes. Needs a remodel. I would try it for the atmosphere and experience."

"Not as good as when Jim owned it but still a staple in Solon and still probably the best burger in town. Sometimes hard to find a seat, but worth the wait."

"This is the best pizza I have found in years, the service is great, the staff is very friendly and the owners make you feel like family. One of the owners goes out of her way to greet my service dog and bring him a snack. I can't say enough good about this place."

"Oh my...what a beautiful and tasty experience! We're visiting from Virginia, for the weekend and searched "best breakfast in Solon" & this diner came up! We had the specials - pesto omelet - 2 orders of potato Pancakes - cheesy eggs over grits w/tomato. Wow! Only recommendation is for you to sit at the counter when you visit. The cooks were super efficient. Be sure to tip them separately than the waitstaff...they're gifted. Coffee was delicious and the staff were so friendly. We even met a believer there and confirmed that God's spirit is everywhere!!"
